Natoli and Alexanderwerk partnered in Session II of this recent webinar. A comparative study using 3 levels of Acetaminophen active in a tablet formulation provided the scientific backdrop of this session. Powder flow, compactability and scalability was evaluated utilizing Natoli’s products and services. Our own Al Friedrich covered Alexanderwerk’s dry granulation roller compaction technology while Natoli’s Rob Sedlock expanded on tableting fundamentals.

Alexanderwerk would like to thank Natoli Engineering for the opportunity to participate in Natoli’s Scientific Tablet Development and Scale Up Training Seminar (April 20-22, 2021) in Telford, PA. What a breath of fresh air for attendees to be able to do this in person – of course using current pandemic social distancing guidelines.
This seminar covered many steps of tablet production, including milling, blending, granulation, tableting, coating, powder rheology, and excipient selection.
